A good dough bowl was handed down through families and was a sense of pride in the kitchen. Dough was made in these hand carved bowls because the wood held the heat generated by the fermentation of the yeast.  There are many replicas now but authentic bowl will have cuts and nicks as well different tones due to aging. dough bowl has a beautifully hand carved

This piece is a real throw back! Long ago, letterpress letters would be placed in the small compartments for typesetting.  This tray even has the metal handle long with the original label. If you have a collection of small items this would be a great way to display them.  Another idea, is to use this drawer for jewelry storage, cuff links or those small items that always go missing.

This absolutely unique table has two large drawers which were used for storing flour. The wooden table top is still smooth, with the original nails its a sturdy piece. This would be great in small space as an island or a serving station.  The bakers table is  great for storage and could be a front hall piece for quickly tossing gloves, hats etc. in the large bins.
